Congratulations to all the Machanites who came out of the closet and admitted to turning 50 this year – several of them, including Vicki, Peter (Helen), Laura, Gary B, Karen F, Deb, Wendy F, Rob and Rosie – attended a huge birthday celebration at the Koala Beach Resort at Cape Kimberley on the Show weekend. An estimated 100 people turned up, coming from as far away as Brisbane and Portland Victoria. The party started when the advance guard arrived on the Thursday and carried on to the Sunday – a party not to be forgotten. Thanks to Vicki and Laura for organising the birthday bash; to Mardi for scanning of photos and compilation of the invitation; to Dan and his band “Crossover” for the fabulous entertainment; and also to Adrian, Justine and staff at KBR for making it such a success.
